clerk (noun)
/ klɑːk / · from the Latin clericus

In every court that has ever sat, one officer has kept the record — numbered its pages, indexed its annexures, bound its volumes. The office is older than the courts themselves.

We didn't invent the job. We made it take three hours instead of three days.

01 — What comes back

Everything the registry expects.
One thing it doesn't.

The four deliverables of every job — assembled to your forum's directions, with court defaults only where the order is silent, and every choice recorded.

File-ready volumes

Whole exhibits packed to the page cap — never split across volumes. A4-compliant; large drawings kept native and flagged, never silently shrunk.

Printed & master indices

Per-volume index pages and a master index mapping every annexure to its volume and page — in the exact words and order of your draft.

Bookmarks, verbatim

Every annexure bookmarked under the title your draft gives it. Searchable text throughout, scans included. Built for the e-filing mandates.

The check-sheet

A written verification trail for every single annexure. The deliverable no manual process produces — see it below.

02 — The check-sheet

We flag. We never guess.
We never touch your record.

SUMMARY: 74 OK · 16 for your confirmation
Three checks per annexure

The date on the document, the parties on its face, and whether any page is unreadable — each checked against what your draft says.

Your draft is the standard

Titles and sequence are reproduced verbatim from your draft — never rephrased, never "improved", never re-sequenced.

Flags, not edits

A mismatch gets a page reference and a snippet for your confirmation. Nothing is ever altered, and nothing unreadable is ever guessed at.

Honest scope: a fast first pass that does the assembly and points your junior at exactly what needs human eyes. The final read before filing is, and should be, yours.
03 — Forums served

One desk. Every forum.

Formats differ — Supreme Court paperbooks, each High Court's rules, tribunal directions. The desk prepares to the rules of the forum you name, and the bench's own order always governs.

Supreme Court of India·Delhi·Bombay·Calcutta·Madras·Karnataka·Punjab & Haryana·Allahabad·Gujarat·Telangana·and every other High Court — plus arbitral tribunals, ad hoc and institutional.

04 — How it works

In by your deadline. Out by ours.

Send the job

Draft (Word or PDF) + annexure files + the court's order or practice direction, if any. Name your forum and your deadline. WhatsApp or email.

The desk builds it

Volumes, indices, pagination, bookmarks, searchable text — to your forum's directions; recorded defaults where the order is silent.

You file

Volumes + master index + check-sheet, back in 3–24 hours by urgency. Your junior clears the flagged items. You file.

06 — Confidentiality

Handled the way we handle our own briefs.

Originals untouched

Your files are processed read-only. The system writes new output files; it never edits, renames or deletes what you sent.

Processed in chambers

Digital files are processed on our own machines. Scanned pages needing text recognition pass through Adobe's document service — the engine large firms use. Nothing else leaves the desk.

Deleted on request

Say the word once you have your output and every copy on our side is deleted. No archive is kept without your instruction.

07 — Questions lawyers ask

Asked. Answered. In writing.

Who runs this?

A working litigation chambers in New Delhi. The desk was built for our own filings first — arbitration records of 90+ exhibits and 900+ pages — and runs on every filing we make. We offer it to other litigators because the capacity exists and the need is everywhere.

How fast is it, really?

You set the deadline when you send the job. Urgent standard filings can come back in as little as 3 hours; every job is back within 24. Tell us what the filing date demands and the desk works to it.

Does it use AI? Will it rewrite my titles?

Software does the assembly; a strict rule governs it: your draft is the standard of correctness. Titles and order are reproduced verbatim from your draft — never rephrased, never "improved", never re-sequenced. Anything the system cannot read or match is flagged for your confirmation, not guessed at.

What does it NOT do?

It does not give legal advice, does not judge which documents matter, does not compute limitation or deadlines, does not certify accuracy or completeness, and does not replace your junior's final read. It assembles, indexes, bookmarks — and points human eyes at exactly the right places.

What about my forum's specific format directions?

Name the forum and send any order or practice direction with the job. The bench's directions govern; the forum's published rules and norms apply where they are silent; and every choice made is recorded in a compliance note you can see.

What if some annexures are handwritten or barely legible?

They come back flagged "confirm by eye" with page references. We flag; we don't guess.
